Scripture:
Psalm 95:1-6 (NKJV) – Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms. 3 For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. 4 In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. 5 The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
1. You need to realize that while a birthright is limited to only what can be GIVEN to you be a person, blessings are given to you by GOD, who can bless you OVER and OVER again.
Genesis 27:36-38 (NLT) – Esau exclaimed, “No wonder his name is Jacob, for now he has cheated me twice. First he took my rights as the firstborn, and now he has stolen my blessing. Oh, haven’t you saved even one blessing for me?” 37 Isaac said to Esau, “I have made Jacob your master and have declared that all his brothers will be his servants. I have guaranteed him an abundance of grain and wine—what is left for me to give you, my son?” 38 Esau pleaded, “But do you have only one blessing? Oh my father, bless me, too!” Then Esau broke down and wept.
James 1:16-17 (ETRV) – My dear brothers and sisters, don’t be fooled about this. 17 Everything good comes from God. Every perfect gift is from him. These good gifts come down from the Father who made all the lights in the sky. But God never changes like the shadows from those lights. He is always the same.
Psalm 85:12 (ESV) – Yes, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase.
1 Corinthians 4:7 (NLT) – For what gives you the right to make such a judgment? What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?
First, YOUR BLESSINGS FROM GOD ARE NOT LIMITED TO CERTAIN PEOPLE.
Second, YOUR BLESSINGS FROM GOD ARE NOT LIMITED TO CERTAIN PEOPLE’S POSSESSIONS.
Third, YOUR BLESSINGS FROM GOD ARE NOT LIMITED TO A CERTAIN PLACE.
Fourth, YOUR BLESSINGS FROM GOD CANNOT BE KEPT FROM YOU BY ANYTHING OR ANYBODY.
Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV) – Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV) – The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
