1. You have a RESPONSIBILITY to turn the
WORLD right side up.
Acts 17:5-9 (ESV) – But the Jews were jealous, and
taking some wicked men of the rabble, they formed a
mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house
of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd. 6 And
when they could not find them, they dragged Jason
and some of the brothers before the city authorities,
shouting, “These men who have turned the world
upside down have come here also, 7 and Jason has
received them, and they are all acting against the
decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king,
Jesus.” 8 And the people and the city authorities were
disturbed when they heard these things. 9 And when
they had taken money as security from Jason and the
rest, they let them go.
John 15:18-21 (ESV) – “If the world hates you, know
that it has hated me before it hated you. 19 If you were
of the world, the world would love you as its own; but
because you are not of the world, but I chose you out
of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20
Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not
greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they
will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will
also keep yours. 21 But all these things they will do to
you on account of my name, because they do not know
him who sent me.
Proverbs 11:11 (ESV) – By the blessing of the upright
a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is
overthrown.
Proverbs 14:34 (ESV) – Righteousness exalts a
nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
2. You can turn the world right side up when you
SHARE the word of GOD with others.
Acts 17:1-4 (ESV) – Now when they had passed
through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to
Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the
Jews. 2 And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on
three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the
Scriptures, 3 explaining and proving that it was
necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the
dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you,
is the Christ.” 4 And some of them were persuaded and
joined Paul and Silas, as did a great many of the devout
Greeks and not a few of the leading women.

Romans 1:16-17 (NLT) – For I am not ashamed of this
Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work,
saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also
the Gentile. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes
us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to
finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith
that a righteous person has life.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV) – All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly
furnished unto all good works.
